Stories about President Donald Trump sexually harassing and abusing women are nothing new in the press.
However, the topic is gaining a lot of steam again after a few alleged victims have decided to come forward. It looks like we are about to get some more concrete information on what has happened in the past.
Three women — Jessica Leeds, Samantha Holvey, and Rachel Cooks — who have allegedly been abused by President Trump have decided to appear on NBC’s Megyn Kelly Today and explain what had happened from their points of view.
They are far from the only ones who have been affected by the president. They went up in public on Monday, and a fourth one, Melinda McGillivray, joined in Tuesday to tell their stories.
This could significantly shake things up around the 45th U.S. president and make it much more uncomfortable for him to maintain his claims of innocence, but it remains to be seen precisely how Trump is going to be affected by the new coverage that those cases are getting.
Trump himself has been in further trouble with the public recently with regards to his misconduct after it came to light that he supports other politicians who have faced similar allegations if they are from the Republican Party.
Whether he does that out of personal interest or if there is something more going on that we are not aware of is hard to tell, but the truth will likely come to light given enough time.
For now, Trump has been maintaining his typical attitude and does not seem bothered at all by what has being said about him in the media, something which hardly comes as a surprise to anyone familiar with the way the president acts in public, and the way he has been handling his job in general.
The treatment of women in modern societies is entering a new phase, and it is not clear that many alleged perpetrators will come out unscathed.
