Dave Chappelle Mocks Louis C.K.’s Accuser And Seems To Belittle #MeToo Movement In Netflix Special

Dave Chappelle is already using his new Netflix special for some interesting purposes, and he is wasting no time stirring up some controversy.

In the latest offering, the comedian decided to make fun of a woman who accused his friend and fellow comedy legend Louis C.K. of sexual misconduct by alleging that he had masturbated to her over the phone. The woman said the incident pushed her to quit her dreams of making it in comedy and Chappelle found her reaction very funny.

Even though C.K. himself has been apologetic about the situation and has admitted to some inappropriate sexual behavior, it seems like people around him are not so quick to accept his guilt, and he has received a lot of defense and support.

Chappelle went a bit far in some of his statements on the new special, according to some accounts, as he also made various inappropriate remarks about other alleged victims. Still, it seemed to all be in good humor and aimed at defending C.K. in an edgy way, so it is understandable that he had to go in that direction.

The topic of sexual assault and misconduct has been a very hot one in the entertainment industry lately, with various celebrities finding themselves in the spotlight in quite the inconvenient way. While the allegations against C.K. are not as serious as what we have seen regarding some other stars, it is still an unpleasant situation for the comedian and has drawn a lot of negative attention his way.

And while he has apologized for the problems, he also seems to be one of the celebrities with backers who do not see things as that serious, so it will be interesting to see where things end up for him.

Chapelle always held a unique spot in the comedy world because he often dares to go places where others might think twice before approaching.

However, some say he is completely missing the spirit behind the #MeToo movement.
