Carrie Underwood has many of her fans concerned after she revealed that she would look different due to a nasty fall.
They have taken to social media to beg her to show her face ahead of the release of her new song conveniently entitled “The Champion.”
The American Idol winner said back in November of 2017 that she slipped and fell on the steps of her mansion.
Last week, the country diva revealed that she seriously hurt her wrist and face during the fall.
The doctors, who treated Underwood, deemed that between 40 to 50 stitches were needed to repair the cuts and bruises.
Mike Fisher‘s wife went on to say in the note that she no longer looks the same and asked her supporters for positive thoughts and prayers.
The “Like I’ll Never Love You Again” singer is actively promoting “The Champion” on Instagram.
However, Underwood’s legion of almost 7 million fans are perplexed as to why she has not posted a selfie or photo to push the track.
Many of them have decided to encourage the talented artist to accept her new face with or without scars.
One fan of “The Girl You Think I Am” singer wrote a passionate message explaining to her that she has her back no matter what she looks like.
The person wrote: “Carrie, you are so beautiful. No matter what happened with the Fall I stand by you with prayers for healing, inside & out.”
Another music lover told Underwood that she should continue talking about what happened to her and how she overcame it because her words will inspire other people in a similar situation.
The comment read in part: “It sounds like what you went through was traumatic. I’m sure there’s someone out there who is in a similar situation and looking for hope. Own the moment, and continue to change lives through your perseverance. You are beautiful all day, every day, in every way. Good luck, and I hope you feel better soon.”
Underwood dropped the new single featuring Ludacris on January 12th.
