Chris Hardwick, the host of Talking Dead, denies having ever sexually assaulted Chloe Dykstra.
This comes in response to a public accusation that the actress made against him in a lengthy written piece. It is worth noting that no concrete link between Hardwick and the essay has been established yet, as it never mentioned his name. However, several signs seem to indicate that he is indeed the one she is talking about.
Hardwick admits that the relationship he had with Dykstra was not perfect, especially towards the end when the two apparently quarreled quite often.
However, he added that at no point has he made any inappropriate advances towards her, and he sounded quite respectful towards his former partner.
The relationship between the two ended when Dykstra allegedly cheated on Hardwick, resulting in him breaking things off with her.
Dykstra was apparently distraught at the situation and was trying everything possible to get back together with her former partner, even claiming that she wanted to start a family with him, but Hardwick was adamant.
Now, Hardwick has expressed strong disappointment over the way things have turned out, claiming that reading Dykstra’s accusations has left him devastated as he has always wanted the best for her.
He finished his statement by saying that he does not condone the inappropriate treatment of women in any context, especially as a man who is a husband and a father in the future.

It remains to be seen if Dykstra will respond to the statement, given the fact that there is no shroud of anonymity left around the situation now.
The 46-year-old comedian has lost a lot of business deals after the story hit the Internet and not many people are standing up to defend him at the moment.
Patty Hearst, the mother of his wife, Lydia Hearst, has taken to social media to show him a little love.
