Hip-hop music legend Eminem carries on with his verbal attacks towards the President of the United States, Donald Trump, and he is once again grabbing headlines.
In a new interview with Vulture, he expressed his sheer disappointment about the consequences of Trump’s election and the state of the country.
The rapper’s opinion of the Republican politician was actually good initially, as he thought that a little diversity would be beneficial for U.S. politics.
However, all of this changed when Trump made his notorious statements about the Mexican immigrants and described them as criminals and rapists.
This is not the first time the famous rapper has taunted the billionaire president.
A freestyle called “The Storm,” performed by Eminem at this year’s BET Hip-Hop awards, gathered a lot of public attention with the lines: “a fork and dagger in this racist 94-year-old grandpa.”
Further critiques regarding the gun reform, the handling of hurricane emergency in Puerto Rico, and the president’s Twitter activity also followed.
Comments about Trump can also be found in Eminem’s new album Revival.
In some lyrics, the president is compared to a “parrot” and a “chump,” and references are made to his TV watching habits.
This is Eminem’s ninth studio album, and a lot of famous musicians are starring as guest-stars, such as Beyoncé, Ed Sheeran, Skylar Grey, Kehlani, and Alicia Keys.
Although it received mixed to average reviews; it still has very good chances of topping the charts in both UK and U.S.
If this happens, it would be his eighth album in a leading position in the UK, an achievement previously only accomplished by Led Zeppelin and Abba.
Mr. Trump just got a major victory in Congress with the most ambitious tax reform in 31 years. Some experts he might receive a boost from this win. Will this be enough to quiet critics like Eminem.
