Enrique Iglesias and Anna Kournikova have finally confirmed that they are now parents.
The longtime couple uploaded the first photos of their newborn twins on Instagram this week and shared their happy news with the rest of the world.
This is going to be the first time parenting for both of them, and for a long time, the big news remained a mystery for the public.
Indeed, some rumors surfaced last month suggesting that Iglesias and Kournikova had welcomed twins, but nothing was confirmed officially until recently.
The proud dad posted a photo of himself and one of the babies, captioned “My Sunshine.”
Father and child are both dressed in gray and white, snuggling comfortably on the bed. The happy mother also shared a photo of herself with the same caption, kissing the other baby, who was also dressed in a gray and white onesie.
Anna and Enrique have been dating since 2001 and are one of the rare examples of long-lasting famous couples.
The famous couple managed to keep the pregnancy a secret until some days after the twins were born.
They succeeded in doing so mainly because their fans were already used to the secretive lives of the Russian athlete and the pop singer, as the two of them are rarely seen together in public and try to avoid commenting on rumors about their relationships.
The music star revealed last year that his own father and musician, Julio, has yet to meet his girlfriend for the first time. According to him, the reason for this was that Anna and his father were rarely in the country at the same time.
The twins — Nicholas and Lucy — were born on December 16 at the South Miami Hospital.
The new dad is known for hit songs like “Dirty Dancer” and “Finally Found You.” The 36-year-old former tennis star is mostly known for shining more outside of the court than on it.
