LeBron James Becomes Youngest Basketball Player To Score 30,000 Points, Congratulates Himself

LeBron James is changing the history of basketball, as he became the youngest player ever to surpass 30,000 points during his NBA career.

The athlete reached the coveted score on Tuesday night with a phenomenal shot which ended the first quarter of the game of his team against the San Antonio Spurs.

The previous record holder of the title was Kobe Bryant, who is now second, with James in the lead by 444 days. And as can be expected, he is pretty proud of himself — so much, in fact, that he decided to congratulate himself on his own achievement in a tongue-in-cheek manner, posting a comment on a picture of his younger self.

In his comment, he was talking to the younger LeBron, encouraging him not to forget to appreciate himself for what he has done and how far he has managed to come.

The note, surprisingly, has managed to stir up some controversy as it looks like most commenters are not taking it as a joke at all, seeing LeBron in a new narcissistic light.

Regardless of the nature of his comment, the player’s achievement is indisputable, and there has been a lot of positivity around his current status in basketball.
