‘House Of Cards’ Season 6 Will Star Robin Wright After Kevin Spacey’s Exit From Netflix Show

Well, it looks like House of Cards really is coming to an end due to the scandal around its main star, Kevin Spacey.

After Mr. Spacey was accused of sexual misconduct, Netflix announced that they would be canceling the show — and now, it has been reported that they are at least going to finish filming the last part of season 6, albeit without the Oscar-winning actor in the picture.

Robin Wright, who played Claire Underwood, will be taking center stage in season 6 and the show had to go through a lot of rewriting to reflect the new reality.

It has been about two months since the production of the show was halted, and some fans were afraid that they would never even see the conclusion to their favorite saga.

However, at least it looks like the producers do not want to leave the supporters negatively affected by the whole debacle, and they are going to push things through to the end.

There has been a lot of speculation about the possible conclusion of the show.

It is not clear if the writers are going to take any jabs at Spacey’s situation or if they are just going to write his character off quietly.

It would be strange to see the main character of the show disappear without an explanation though, and some reports suggest that might be the direction the bosses behind the drama will take. Fans of the popular series will have to wait to see how the rest of the season is going to be handled.

Meanwhile, Netflix has been moving forward with their other productions, and it does not look like the network is going to feel the loss of House of Cards all that much at this point.

It needs to be said that the series was one of the first major successes for the streaming service a few years ago. It helped Netflix get a seat at the table when it comes to critics, awards, and international recognition.

The show’s fans, however, are definitely going to remember what happened and there have been lots of disappointed voices in that community.
