Outrage over President Donald Trump’s latest insensitive comment has been building up fast, and it looks like the Republican politician might not be able to get away with his remark that easily this time.
After reportedly referring to certain nations in Africa as “s***hole countries” and criticizing the fact that the U.S. accepts immigrants from them, Trump received a lot of negative — and some even downright hateful — responses.
The statement was allegedly made during a meeting at the White House over immigration reform.
Some famous people are fighting back and are determined to prove that this country is more than comments made by its president.
CNN anchor Anderson Cooper, in particular, wanted to make it clear that Trump was not above Haiti in any way, and that the people of Haiti have gone through much more in their lives than Trump has ever had to. He went on to explain the high respect he has for Haitians.
The president is a racist. He has been for his entire public life. If you vote(d) for him, you do so because of that or despite that. We need a multi-racial anti-racist coalition to defeat him and try to heal our nation.

John Legend also joined in, accusing Trump of being a racist, and expressing his disappointment in the fact that he got elected into office. At the same time, he stated that the country needs a serious group of dedicated people to restore the positive values America was built on.
2018 definitely did not start off on a good foot for the 45th U.S. president, and as the criticism towards his administration keeps building up, some are starting to question if he is actually fit for office.
This is not the first time Trump’s competence has been brought into question, but it looks like this could be the beginning of the end for his administration if he does not steer things back in the right direction.
However, as can be expected, Trump was nowhere to be seen with a response to the massive wave of criticism, nor do we expect him to respond at any point.
The former reality TV star’s main line of defense in regards to this controversy is that he is the “least racist” person.
