Megyn Kelly Pays The Price For Her Words Against Jane Fonda — Ann Curry And Joy Behar Slam Her

Following the verbal attacks that Megyn Kelly launched against actress Jane Fonda on Monday, the host was taken off air from the show the very next day, with NBC playing a taped episode on Tuesday.

The controversial journalist has asked over and over again about the plastic surgeries that the Oscar-winning actress went through.

Instead of continuing the drama, the taped show on Tuesday went on with an entirely different theme — sex trafficking.

Apparently, it was easier for the producers to shoot the episode in advance as it would have been harder to gather the right type of viewers for the sensitive topic.

This was quite a surprising decision, as many fans were wondering why the producers chose to air this episode in particular, instead of covering the Oscar nominations and also the scandals of sexual harassment surrounding stars James Franco and Kevin Spacey.

However, despite the fact that Kelly did not appear live after trashing the 80-year-old actress, her actions did not go unnoticed.

The incident was heavily discussed during The View on Tuesday by guest-host Ann Curry, and co-hosts — Joy Behar, and Whoopi Goldberg.

According to Curry, the behavior demonstrated by Kelly was very mean and should not be tolerated. The former NBC News anchor admitted to being shocked by Kelly’s words.

Behar chose to be more straightforward with her reaction by simply wondering out loud how many plastic surgeries the former Fox News star has had herself.

The comedian blasted Kelly for bringing up Vietnam into a discussion about plastic surgery.

Goldberg also agreed with others, saying that the assaults towards the movie icon were a mistake.

Since joining the Peacock Network, Kelly has been trying to justify her big contract, but the ratings have not followed.

So, she has been trying to bring her conservative credentials to a mainstream audience that might not be entirely ready for it.
