Will And Jada Pinkett Smith Do Not Regard Themselves As Married

Even though everything is going on just fine in the relationship between Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, the two of them decided to stop saying that they are married from now on.

In a recent interview for Tidal’s Rap Radar, the 49-year-old actor explained that he and his wife do not refer to themselves as a married couple anymore, but rather as “life partners.”

Smith also added that this was because they have already realized they will stay together for the rest of their lives and there was nothing Jada could do to break their relationship, so “life partners” was a more appropriate naming of their situation.

Later, Jada expressed the same opinion as her husband during a June episode of Sway in the Morning. According to her, she and her husband were family, and they could always rely on each other no matter what.

Before the couple’s declarations of true love, for years the two of them were rumored to have been separated, and the possibility of them being in an open relationship was even mentioned.

However, the famous actor has said on previous occasions that he and his wife have had their problems before.

In an interview back in 2016, Smith admitted to visiting a marriage counselor, and it was during the counseling sessions that he and Jada were candid with each other.

The actor admitted that when they said revealed everything to each other for the first time, it was hard for them to cope with the initial tension, but their relationship later blossomed.

Although the statements being pushed by the two superstars seem to indicate that all is well in their relationship, some commenters argue that they sound more like people living separate lives.

Those critics say that their couple is too big to fail, and they will find ways to stay together.
